Review by hotel critic
Review of Petris Hotel in RomeDuring my recent three-night stay at the Petris Hotel, I found it to be a solid choice for travelers seeking value amidst the rich tapestry of Rome's history. Nestled in the heart of the city, its location allowed easy access to iconic sites such as the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum, all within a leisurely walking distance. While the first room we were allocated was somewhat cramped and dated, the staff promptly facilitated a room change to a larger, more comfortable space with a splendid bathroom. The attentive front desk team deserves commendation for their customer service. I particularly appreciated having access to a terrace garden where breakfast was served—a simple but pleasant touch. Considering the high demand in peak season, the room rates appeared reasonable compared to similar accommodations in Dublin. I opted for the €6 breakfast option, which was basic yet sufficient for setting out on daily adventures. The Petris Hotel presents a reliable blend of comfort and convenience, making it a wise financial choice for those eager to explore Rome without straining their budget.
